SEVENTH ANNUAL contest sponsored by DIXIE POETS of UTSPS & Washington County School District

Students will read their winning poem at an award program-Sat, Oct. 27, 2016 at 10 am on east stage at the Spooky Town Fair behind the St. George public library.

For public, private and home school students living in Washington County School District area

Submit your original poem-rhymed or free verse—to Lin between Oct.1st and 12th.  Maximum of 24 lines

Judging Categories:

A. 1ST––3RD GRADE

B. 4TH––5TH GRADE

C. 6TH––7TH GRADE

D. 8TH––9TH GRADE

E. 10TH––12TH GRADE

Winner will be notified by Oct 17th CASH PRIZES AWARDED *All entries will be judged by UTSPS members on originality, and following the theme. Classroom assigned poems must be pre-judged by their teacher first + then top 10% of entries sent in by the teacher. by email. Poems cannot have won a prize or been published.
